To test out some of our strategic initiatives, Workspace decided to pilot several changes at two different properties. Vox Studios and The Leather Market have seen occupancy fall back recently. The pilots were focused on addressing high impact, first impression areas at the sites, including entrances, external terraces, receptions, breakout areas, cafés, corridors, tea points and bathrooms.

All changes have been centred on improving areas receiving poor customer feedback, such as lighting, acoustics and installing more in-demand phone booths.

The changes led to more positive customer feedback, particularly around comfort and usability. Communal spaces saw greater engagement, and there were early signs of occupancy beginning to recover.
